Join us as we celebrate Juneteenth with a program presented by living historian Steve Trimm and author Robert C. (Bob) Conner based on his biography General Gordon Granger: The Savior of Chickamauga and the Man Behind “Juneteenth” and learn the compelling story of this Civil War general’s career.

1pm: Robert (Bob) Conner is a former journalist and the author of the biography James Montgomery: Abolitionist Warrior. His historical novel The Last Circle of Ulysses Grant was published in 2018. Conner has won two first-place writing awards from the New York Associated Press Association, and we are pleased to note he is a long-time Grant Cottage tour guide.

His books will be available for purchase, and book signing opportunities will be provided prior to and at the conclusion of his program.
