The Grant Cottage shares the land with the now closed
Mount McGregor Correctional Facility.
Prior to your ascent to the Cottage, a routine check-in at the gate is required.

Access will not be granted to view the Cottage
from the outside during off-hours.

The Grant Cottage is located just north of Saratoga Springs, NY.
From I-87, the Northway
Take exit 16 West on Ballard Rd. (County Rt. 33) to the intersection at Rt. 9. Go through the intersection onto Corinth Mountain Rd. (County Rt. 101). Take the first right and follow the signs up the mountain to Grant Cottage.

Well-behaved pets on a leash are allowed on the exterior grounds for no additional fee.  Any leash shall not be more than 6 feet in length.  Visitors to Grant Cottage must be prepared to show proof of licensure and of current rabies inoculation for any dog in their care.  No more than 2 pets per car will be allowed on site.
Pets must be under control of their owner (or caregiver) at all times.  Visitors bringing pet(s) on-site are expected to bring their own excrement disposal bags, to promptly clean up after their pet(s) and to take responsibility for proper bag disposal off-site.

Pets will not be allowed in Grant Cottage or the Grant Cottage Visitor Center.

Place-based learning coupled with hands-on activities is essential for students to retain the information provided at an academic level.  Our knowledgeable volunteers and staff will provide a memorable experience for students of all ages, creating a spark that will hopefully continue to inspire after they leave the Cottage.
